Stan Saito

Stan Saito is president of the Las Vegas Asian Chamber of Commerce (LVACC). The LVACC represents the professional and business interests of Nevada’s growing Asian Pacific Americans and promotes economic growth for its membership. The chamber’s goal is to become a major forum and significant economic force in bringing about political, social and economic parity for Nevada’s Asian Pacific American community.


Phil Hevener

Phil Hevener has been writing about the business, politics and leading personalities of the casino industry for more than 28 years. He has been a columnist and editor for major casino-related publications and was recently awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award in gaming communications from the American Gaming Association. He is author of the novel, “Las Vegas Solution.”


Satomi Hofmann

Satomi Hofmann, who performs as the Soap Star in “Menopause The Musical®”, is a classically trained musician with a diverse background who has a B.A, degree in Theatre from UCLA. She has played with Killian’s Angels, an all-female local band, and performed in musical theater, where her credits include Mayzie in “Seussical,” Aldonza in “Man of La Mancha,” “Smokey Joe’s Café,” and Eve/Mamma Noah in “Children of Eden.”


Marsha Waterbury

Marsha Waterbury, who plays the Iowa Housewife, has starred on Broadway and toured the country and the world in a 30-year career. She has starred off-Broadway as well, played regional theatres, and was a rock and roll singer. Some of her leading roles were in Jakes’ Women, Smile, Mamma Mia and Fiddler on the Roof (Broadway).

Brent Barrett

Brent Barrett makes his Las Vegas debut as “The Phantom” in the new Las Vegas Production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “PHANTOM.” Barrett has won critical acclaim on Broadway in the hit musicals Chicago (opposite Melanie Griffith) and Annie Get Your Gun (opposite Reba McEntire), as well as Grand Hotel, Candide, Dance A Little Closer and West Side Story. In addition to his acclaim on Broadway, Barrett received a prestigious Olivier Award nomination for his starring role in the London production of the Broadway revival of Kiss Me, Kate!


Don Logan

Don Logan begins his 23rd season with the Las Vegas baseball franchise. He has been a part of Las Vegas’ two championship teams, which captured the PCL title in 1986 and 1988. Don began his career with the franchise as an account executive in 1984. He quickly moved his way up the front office ladder and was named General Manager in 1991, then named president of the 51s on Jan. 3, 2000, in addition to his responsibilities as general manager. He continues to work on a project that involves the plan to build a new stadium for the 51s, which would begin a new era for Triple-A baseball in Southern Nevada


Jon Lovitz

Actor and Comedian Jon Lovitz has performed as a member of the famed Groundlings, as a cast member of the legendary Saturday Night Live, on Broadway and on “The Simpsons.” In a reverse of the typical career path, Jon is now focusing on performing stand-up comedy. (He can also sing- three times at Carnegie Hall and the National Anthem at Dodger Stadium and the U.S. Open.


Christopher Nolan

Christopher Nolan, on the advice of a friend who heard him singing the Christmas song “Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire,” began performing a tribute to Nat “King” Cole in 1993. He’s been doing it ever since, performing around the world. Christopher has been singing since he was a little boy, including time spent with a church choir under the direction of Dr. Larry Robinson, former director of the famous Boys Choir Of Harlem.

Bob Maheu

Bob Maheu spent many years working as the alter ego, the face and voice, of Howard Hughes. He was the man to go to when you wanted to speak or deal with Hughes. He was in a pivotal position during the transition of Las Vegas from a small town to a major city. He is the author of “Next To Hughes.”


Jimmy Hopper

Singer Jimmy Hopper is returning to Las Vegas after working in New York writing the music and score for the Broadway musical, “The Day There Was No More Music.” One music critic described him this way: “Hopper is Freddy Mercury meets Andréa Bocelli.” The white spiked hair is startling in contrast to the strong opera vocals which flow from his lips.


Jay Kornegay

Jay Kornegay, executive director of the Las Vegas Hilton SuperBook, has more than 15 years of race and sports book experience. He graduated from Colorado State University in 1987 and pursued a gaming industry career beginning with Harrah’s in Lake Tahoe.

Cast of “Forever Plaid”

Douglas Frank, Kevin McMahon and Mark Perkins and Dale Sandish are in the Las Vegas production of “Forever Plaid,” which originally opened in New York on May 20, 1990 and received unanimous rave reviews. “Forever Plaid” is the story of four unlikely heroes whose dreams of musical glory come true. It features the miraculous return to earth of the four Plaids. The hit musical comedy blends 50’s and 60’s music of rock ‘n roll, popular show and dance tunes–and serve as a perfect accompaniment to the fulfillment of a once-in-a-lifetime dream.


Michael Green

Dr. Michael Green is a history professor and author of many books and articles about Las Vegas, including “Las Vegas: A Centennial History” and “Las Vegas:
A Pictorial Celebration.” He also is a columnist for the Las Vegas Business Press and Nevada’s Washington Watch, editor of the Nevada Historical Society Quarterly, and an editor for the University of Nevada Press and the Online Nevada Encyclopedia.


Nathan Burton

Magician Nathan Burton intertwines original stage illusions, comedy, street magic and showgirls to create a fast paced, contemporary and riveting performance. He performed his first magic show for his own kindergarten class in Palm Springs, California in 1978. Since then, he has toured the world and performed on NBC’s “The World’s Wildest Magic” and “World’s Greatest Magic 3.”
