Earl Turner

Magician/Comedian Nick Lewin debuted on the Merv Griffin show and has been performing on TV ever since. He’s traveled all over the world, entertaining on cruise ships as well as casino showrooms in Reno, Laughlin, and Las Vegas.


Erica Enders

The 22-year-old phenomenon of the National Hot Rod Association has put the pedal to the metal since she was eight, snaring titles and accolades on every run leading to her becoming the first woman ever to qualify No. 1 in Pro Stock in the sport’s 31-year history.

Aaron Ross

Aaron Ross is founder of the Underground Vegas Film Festival. Underground Vegas Film was created by a group of Southern Nevada filmmakers in conjunction with local academic film instructors. The groups’ goal is to create a public forum for Southern Nevada independent filmmakers and their productions, providing a twice-yearly showcase of Las Vegas film in a ‘theatre’ setting.

Terry Stokes

Terry Stokes grew up in Atlanta and saw a fellow named Jack Berry doing a hypnosis show while he was in college. Terry immediately changed his major to behavior modification. Terry has been on tour for 35 years and was one of the first hypnotists to do state fairs.


Michael Johns

Johns, a native of Bolivar, MO., started out as a stand-up comic noted for his adult humor. He has been a comedic hypnotist for more than five years and performed more than 2,000 shows nationwide in the past decade alone.

Sirens of TI

The sultry Sirens of TI are going to celebrate three years of swordplay and pirate slaying at the end of the month. Stacey Kane is an original cast member of the Sirens of TI and currently plays “Sin,” the lead in the show. Stacey was born in Redwood City, California, was an NFL cheerleader for the Oakland Raiders and chosen’s 2001 Raiderette “Dancer of the Year.”

As a fighter, Trigg is a veteran of such promotions as Ultimate Fighting Championship, PRIDE Fighting Championships, Rumble on the Rock, and World Fighting Alliance.


David G. Schwartz

David G. Schwartz is an Atlantic City native and former casino employee who is emerging as one of the preeminent historians of gambling. Since coming to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, he has helped to establish the Center for Gaming Research as an indispensable international resource. He is author of “Roll the Bones: The History of Gambling,” is a popular history of gambling throughout the world.

The Sweet Adelines

The Sweet Adelines is a worldwide organization of women singers committed to advancing the musical art form of barbershop harmony through education and performances. Their annual convention is being held in Las Vegas October 10-14. Spotlight, the 2006 International Quartet Champion (comprised of LeAnn Hazlett, lead; Kendra LaPointe, tenor; Patti Britz, bass; and Kerry Denino, baritone) performs an Irving Berlin tune.
