
Valery Behr
Valery Behr is the editor of Las Vegas Life, a monthly magazine that has won a number of awards, including “Best City and Regional Magazine” from the Western Publishing Association and “General Excellence in Writing” from the City & Regional Magazine Association. Behr began her career in publishing as an associate producer with Audio Renaissance Tapes, then became creative executive for author Michael Crichton’s production company. She founded The Writer’s Resource, providing on-site creative support to high-profile authors. Behr joined The Greenspun Media Group in March 2005.

Toy Tomme
Benihana Executive Chef Toy Tomme started cooking for Benihana in 1974 in Southern California, then moved to Behihana’s at the Las Vegas Hilton in 1976. He has been a mainstay in the famous restaurant ever since. Toy has cooked for celebrities such as Bob Hope, Andy Griffith, Milton Berle, Wayne Newton, Sammy Davis, Jr., Neil Sedaka, Kenny Rogers, Siegfried & Roy and Eddie Murphy.

Cast of Forever Plaid (Plaid Tidings)
Douglas Frank (Frankie) enjoyed more than five years of “Plaid.” He first performed the show in his native Minnesota. Kevin McMahon (Jinx) previously appeared in the San Diego, Laguna Playhouse, as well as touring companies of “Forever Plaid.” Mark Perkins (Frankie) is a recent transplant from Southern California, but he has been associated with “Forever Plaid” since 1999 (as Frankie in the resident San Diego company for 2-1/2 years, as well as dozens of other venues). Rodney Peck (Sparky) began life as a Plaid at the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center. Since then, he has appeared in “Forever Plaid” in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, North Carolina and other venues.

Samantha Ratcliffe-D’Arrigo
Samantha is co-owner of Vegas Rock Dog, which designs rock and roll hip dog apparel in Las Vegas. Vegas Rock Dog was the only Las Vegas Business to be selected for inclusion in the 2006 Billboard Awards gift bag.

Michael Konik

Noel Sullivan
Welsh-born singer Noel Sullivan jump-started his career as one of the winners of the UK television hit “Popstars.” As a member of the record-breaking UK pop group, Hear’Say, Sullivan reached superstardom as the group broke sales records for their debut single and CD. Before heading to the United States, Sullivan starred with his “Simply Ballroom” co-star Zoë Birkett in the musical production, “What a Feeling.”

Zoë Birkett
Zoë Birkett caught the attention of “American Idol” host Simon Cowell, as the then-16-year-old singer became the highest-placed female of the first season of “Pop Idol,” the show that started the “Idol” craze throughout the world. After the first season of “Pop Idol,” Birkett toured with fellow “Idol” winners and was featured on the hit CD, Pop Idol: The Big Band Album. In 2003, Birkett recorded a single, “Treat Me Like a Lady,” which reached number four on the UK singles chart.

Charles Pignone
Charles Pignone is an archivist and producer for the Sinatra family. He wrote THE SINATRA TREASURES, a collection of stories, photos and memorabilia from Frank Sinatra’s life. The book was a New York Times bestseller and foreign editions were published in the UK, Italy and France. He has produced and written liner notes for several Sinatra albums, including The Complete Reprise Studio Recordings boxed set, and was a consulting producer on the TV special; Sinatra: The Classic Duets. He lives in Los Angeles.

Magician and Comedian Mac King was named “Magician of the Year” by the Magic Castle in Hollywood, broke a Guinness World Record, appeared on his seventh TV special for NBC-TV, was voted the sixth best show in Las Vegas, and his new book from Random House entered its fifth printing. He’s also very funny.

Robin Leach
Robin Leach is the entertainment man-about-town in Las Vegas, writing a daily journal , “Luxe Life,” on the AOL Vegas site and for LVM Magazine. His popular television show from the ‘80’s, “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous,” focused on profiling well-known celebrities and their lavish homes, while spotlighting his signature phrase, “champagne wishes and caviar dreams.”

Delisco
Delisco, who has a powerful five-octave soul/rock countertenor vocal range, combines a classic quality with edgy rock and soul style. A veteran of stage, television, and Broadway, Delisco made his television debut on the E! Network’s reality series “The Entertainer,” in the spring of 2005 and won the title of “The Entertainer” after competing with nine other contestants from a pool of over 25,000.

Howard Stutz covers the gaming industry for the Las Vegas Review-Journal. He has more than 20 years of communications experience as an award-winning newspaper reporter and freelance writer, including 11 years reporting for the Las Vegas Review-Journal and Las Vegas Sun. Jeff Bernstein
Bernstein is a retired Miami Police Officer who now runs a public safety training business that trains other officers on how to deal with a crisis situation. A self-made millionaire who earned a Ph. D in psychology, Bernstein has played in 20 blackjack tournaments. He is the world blackjack champion, scoring first-place in the World Series of Blackjack that aired on GSN.

Nicholas Price
Nicholas A. Price, an internationally known Artist who unusually works in three mediums - art, sculpture and photography, was granted exclusive and unique access to two major military installations in the United States. His mission: to photograph the human story behind the men and women in our Air Force. For this 12-month project, Cleared Hot!, which is now a tour and a book, Price shot two Nikon 35mm professional film cameras and a range of Ilford traditional black and white films.

Randy Walker
Randall H. Walker was appointed Director of Aviation for Clark County in May 1997, and is responsible for the oversight of McCarran International Airport, one of the busiest airports in the United States. In 2005, there were 609,000 aircraft operations (takeoffs and landings) that took place at McCarran International Airport bringing nearly 50 percent of all visitors to Las Vegas. More than 14,000 people are employed at McCarran, including airline and concessionaire employees, and contractors. The airport generates approximately $324 million a year and has a yearly impact on the local economy of approximately $27 billion.
