Matthew O’Brien, who has lived in Las Vegas since 1997, is currently news editor and a writer of Las Vegas CityLife, an alternative-weekly newspaper. He is the author of “Beneath The Neon–Life and Death in the Tunnels of Las Vegas.”

Thomas Barndt started making short films in 2002 after working for seven years in an unrelated field. He writes, directs, shoots, and edits all of his films. His current film, “the Mark,” will be screened at the 9th Annual CineVegas Film Festival.

Country and Southern Rock singer Christy Clayton and her band was just voted “Favorite Local Country Band” in the “Best of Las Vegas” section of the Las Vegas Review-Journal. She just returned from the first leg of her “Breaking The Rules” tour in Texas and recently released a CD, “Devil’s Paradise.”


Christopher Lawrence

Christopher Lawrence is the TV critic for the Las Vegas Review-Journal and writes the weekly “Life on the Couch column.” He developed his lifelong love of TV as an only child in western Kentucky, preferring the comfort of the couch to the dangers of the outdoors.
