Don Logan

Don Logan enters his 25th season with the Las Vegas baseball franchise. He has been a part of Las Vegas’ two championship teams, which captured the PCL title in 1986 and 1988. He began his career with the franchise as an account executive in 1984. He quickly moved his way up the front office ladder and was named General Manager in 1991. He then was named President of the 51s on Jan. 3, 2000, in addition to his responsibilities as general manager.


Anthony Curtis

Anthony Curtis is one of the world’s most recognized and quoted gambling authorities. The publisher of the Las Vegas Advisor and president of LasVegasAdvisor.com, he has appeared as a casino expert on “Dateline,” “48 Hours,” A&E, E! Entertainment, Discovery, The Travel Channel, The Food Channel, The Learning Channel, and has been the subject of articles in the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, San Diego Union-Tribune, Los Angeles Times Magazine, Los Angeles Times, Arthur Frommers’ Budget Travel and Discover magazine. Curtis is author of “Bargain City—Booking, Betting, and Beating the New Las Vegas,” and “The Art of Gambling Through The Ages.”


Tim Gabrielson

Comic magician Tim Gabrielson is a native of Minnesota who began performing at a local theme park at age 16. His comedic wit and natural timing combined with magical prowess quickly made him a park favorite and landed him a contract with a local agency. He soon became one of the Midwest’s youngest and fastest rising entertainers. Having appeared on numerous national television shows and for sold out crowds across the country; Tim’s now performing in Las Vegas.

Kate Silver

Kate Silver is a free-lance writer who previously spent five years as a staff writer at Las Vegas Weekly, where she won Journalist of Merit and Journalist of Excellence from the Nevada Press Association, and for two years she was the 702 Editor at “Las Vegas Life.” Her work has also appeared in Playboy and People magazines and she’s currently working on a book about Mary Kay cosmetics. She is a contributing writer to “Pauline Frommer’s Las Vegas.”


Kevin Burke

Burke was introduced to Rob Becker, the creator of “Defending the Caveman,” through a mutual friend. Becker auditioned more than 80 actors and comedians before choosing Burke as his replacement for the national Broadway tour. Prior to coming to Las Vegas, Burke had been starring in the critically acclaimed Broadway tour of “Defending the Caveman” since 2003.


Wes Winters

Musician Wes Winters was inspired by Liberace upon seeing the famous pianist on television at age 5. It was at this young age when he actively began listening to recordings of Liberace and became a self-taught pianist playing “by ear.” A native of Kansas, Winters moved to Las Vegas in 2003. He was honored that very same year as the winner of the 2003 Liberace Play-A-Like Competition. He has been entertaining professionally now for more than 20 years.


Tanya Combs

Tanya Combs is the Director of Museum Operations for the Liberace Foundation & Museum. Her responsibilities include the Museum Store, Cafe, the Liberace Tribute Show, all events (including the monthly Second Sundays free for Nevada residents), tours and Liberace’s collection of rare pianos, jewelry, bejeweled costumes, rhinestoned stage cars and other private memorabilia in the collection.

STEVE HARWELL

Steve Harwell is one of the three co-founding members- along with Greg Camp and Paul DeLisle- of Smash Mouth, the pop rock band that jumped from its San Jose base to world-wide renown. Collectively, Smash Mouth has sold more than 10 million albums worldwide.


MARCEL PARENT

Marcel Parent is the education and volunteer programs manager for the Springs Preserve, a 180-acre non-gaming cultural visitor that opened in Las Vegas in spring 2007. He is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of the education programs for youth and adults. Marcel also coordinates many programs between the Springs Preserve and other organizations, including the Las Vegas Valley Water District, the Southern Nevada Water Authority, and municipal and state agencies.


HAL SINGER

Hal Singer leads the RPM Band, which performs regularly on “Lunchtime With Ira.”
