Ian Wright is the author of “On The Brink of Fame, Pop Stars in the Swinging ‘60’s.” English-born Ian Wright’s 50-year career as a photo journalist began at age 14 when he entered and won the bronze award for HRH Prince Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Awards Scheme for students. From there, he spent “The Swinging ‘60s” photographing such emerging icons as Ella Fitzgerald, Chubby Checker, The Beatles, Gene Pitney, Marianne Faithfull, The Kinks, Roy Orbison, Dave Clark Five, Sandi Shaw, Adam Faith and The Rolling Stones.

This rock star from Wales, who created the famed Spencer Davis Group in 1963, has close to a dozen top 10 hit songs, including “Gimme Some Lovin”, “Somebody Help Me”, “I’m A Man”, and “Keep On Runnin”, helping to bring British rock ‘n roll to the rest of the world.

Drummer Jamie Borden from the rock group, Phoenix, has recorded and performed with guitar legend, Mark Kendall of the rock super group “Great White”, Mahavishnu Orchestra’s violinist, Jerry Goodman, Bassist Bunny Brunel of Chick Korea, as well as having international best selling instructional videos.

Jimmy Crespo, former lead guitarist for Aerosmith (1979-1984) also has played live or appeared on recordings with such artists as Rod Stewart, Billy Squier, Flame, Adam Bomb, Bandaloo Doctors, Meat Loaf, The Cutt, Stress, Stevie Nicks, Robert Fleischman, Ian Lloyd. He currently is performing with Phoenix.

Elizabeth Muto, former Miss Nevada (2004), is director of development for Boys Town. In 1980, Elizabeth was abandoned at the Reno Cannon-International Airport. When two pilots discovered her at the Delta counter they took her to Lost and Found. When no one claimed the approximately ten-day old infant, she was placed into the loving arms of the foster parents that would later adopt her. In September 2004, Elizabeth became the first African-American to represent Nevada at the Miss America Pageant.
