Kevin Burke

Comedian Kevin Burke, star of “Defending the Caveman,” was born to be in show business. Burke hails from a long line of entertainers. His great grandmother was a vaudeville performer, his grandfather was a standup comedian who toured nationally, and his mother is a singer. Burke caught the acting bug in his home city of Chicago after auditioning on a whim for what lead to his first acting experience, starring in his high school play “Dracula.”


Jeff Hobson

Jeff Hobson is one of the most in-demand comedy magicians working today. His mix of comedy and magic has brought him back for repeat performances all over the world. Hobson has won numerous awards, including “Best Comedy Magic” award from the International Magic Awards Association and “Best Magic Review” by the World Magic Awards


Betty Chapman

Betty Chapman is president EPLS Publishing, which publishes the “Say It Right” foreign language phrase book series. The EPLS approach is based on an Innovative, sound-based pronunciation system created by Clyde Peters.

Roger Dow is president and chief executive officer of the Travel Industry Association (TIA), the national umbrella organization representing all segments of the $740 billion U.S. travel and tourism industry.


Bruce Bommarito

Bruce C. Bommarito is executive vice president and chief operating officer of the Travel Industry Association (TIA). He reports directly to CEO Roger Dow and is responsible for all TIA departments except for advocacy and communication.

Charlie Desiderio

Charlie Desiderio, who comes from a restaurant family, grew up in the marketing field and owned a restaurant in Wantagh, Long Island NY arrived in Las Vegas in 1996. He immediately started reviewing restaurants for local media, both print and electronic. He soon developed the concept of “The Las Vegas Restaurant Guy” show. His philosophy: “A critic can be a restaurant owner’s best friend by being able to address issues and correct or improve them.”


Scarlett - Princess of Magic

Scarlett, princess of magic, is also an accomplished dancer, an artist, metal welder, percussionist, and has fire performing skills. She has mastered some of the most difficult feats performed by the legendary Harry Houdini and Harry Blackstone, Jr. She has been handcuffed, feet shackled, dropped upside down and locked in bone chilling water in an escape never intended for a woman.


Monti Rock III

Monti Rock III was a hairdresser, teen idol and talk-show guest from the ‘60s. In the early ‘70s, he formed Disco Tex & the Sex-O-Lettes, working with legendary producer Bob Crewe and scored two hits, 1974’s “Get Dancin’” and the next year with “I Wanna Dance Wit’ Choo.” He also is remembered from a classic film of that era, “Saturday Night Fever.” Today, Monti is an entertainment columnist in Las Vegas.

Chef Louis Osteen

Chef Louis Osteen is owner and executive chef of Louis’s Las Vegas & Fish Camp in Las Vegas. Direct from Pawleys Island in South Carolina (the original Louis’s and The Fish Camp opened there in 2002), Chef Louis is the first James Beard award-winning chef to open a restaurant in Las Vegas outside of a casino-resort. He is regarded as a champion of Low country South cuisine and known for the revival of Southern fare nationally.


Bob Stoldal

Bob Stoldal, former vice president of news at KLAS-TV in Las Vegas, has been in the news business for four decades. The veteran news executive also serves as chairman of the Nevada State Museum and Historical Society and the Las Vegas Historic Preservation Commission. The commission plans to open a “mob museum” in 2010 at the historic downtown Las Vegas post office.

Eric M. Hilton

Eric M. Hilton, founder of Three Square, is former vice chairman of Hilton Hotels Corporation and has been involved with domestic and international strategic planning and property development. A 49-year veteran of Hilton Hotels Corporation, he began his career in 1949 and held a number of management positions at Hilton Hotels throughout the country. Mr. Hilton has been honored with the Alumni President’s Award and an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree from the University of Houston and the American Vocational Association Award of Merit.


Mosaic

Mosaic is an instrument-free, all vocals group that blends elements of funk, jazz, hip-hop and opera, and whose entire show is produced vocally. The six-man a capella group performs regularly with comedian George Wallace in Las Vegas and was recently crowned winner of CBS’ “The Early Show” search for “The Next Great A Capella Group.”


Francisco Menendez

Francisco Menendez is a professor and film department chair at UNLV. He has been responsible for creating the film department’s production and screenwriting sequences, designing its non-linear lab facilities and beginning its Professional Film Crew Training Program. He is director of the new film, “Primo.”


Warren Cobb

UNLV film professor Warren Cobb is the producer of the new film, “Primo,” features a diverse cast including Henry Darrow (High Chaparral, Zorro), Eloy Mendez (Bread and Roses), Andrea Grano (Planet of the Apes, 24), and Ilia Volok (U-Turn, Air Force One, Alias). The film was shot on location in El Salvador and Las Vegas.


Anthony Gourdine

Anthony Gourdine is leader of Little Anthony and the Imperials. The group was a recipient of the Rhythm & Blues Foundation’s Fourth Annual Pioneer Award, and was inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame Museum in Sharon, PA. They are celebrating their 50th year in show business.


Clarence Collins

Clarence Collins is founder of the Imperials. Their first record as Little Anthony and the Imperials for End Records was a double-sided ballad smash. The “A” side, “Tears On My Pillow,” instantly launched their career into musical history. The flip-side, “Two People In The World,” made the single one of the most popular double-sided records in vocal group history.
